Horseback Riding Lessons
I am now offering lessons for beginning riders, both children & adults. Private lessons are available Monday - Friday only. Lessons are $25/lesson. Please contact me on via my contact page to inquire about lessons and availability.

Helmets are provided, although it is highly encouraged that you bring your own. It MUST be an ASTM or SEI certified riding helmet. Bicycle helmets will not be allowed.
Shoes: CLOSED TOED shoes ONLY!!!! It is highly recommended that you purchase paddock boots from your local tack/ tack & feed store.
Pants:
Western: Jeans are acceptable.
English: You may wear jeans with 1/2 chaps at the very least. It is recommended (although not required) that you purchase riding breeches as they are designed for riding and are more comfortable.

Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel a lesson, please do so 24 hrs BEFORE your scheduled lesson.
I will make an exception should the event of an emergency occur the day of.
Please understand that in taking riding lessons and working with/around horses, you assume all risk and liability while handling and/or riding.
Please note the following as we want you to arrive and return home in one piece:
*Please take care in driving down Lawson Valley Rd as it serpentines most of the way.
*Please do not speed when coming down Montiel Truck Trail Rd OR W. Boundary Truck Trails (at the end of Montiel Truck Trail) as some of the roads are narrow and can be 1 car lanes for short periods of time.

How to get to Hidden Haven Farms From Jamacha Rd. & Campo Rd.
1. Drive down Campo Rd (you will pass Steele Canyon High School & Bright Valley Farms on the left)
2. Continue straight through the stop light at Campo Rd.
3. Turn LEFT onto Lyons Valley Rd. (You will pass the St. Pius church & arena).
4. Continue STRAIGHT onto Skyline Truck Trail when you reach the 3 way stop.
5. Turn LEFT onto Lawson Valley Rd. (BE CAREFUL DRIVING ON LAWSON VALLEY RD. IT SERPENTINES FOR ABOUT 5 MILES)
6. Follow Lawson Valley Rd for about 4-5 miles (there is road construction on the bridge - you will come to a stop light. Go through the stop light when safe)
7. Turn LEFT onto Montiel Truck Trail (about 50-100 ft after the light).
8. Follow the road (be careful - the road gets narrow -DONT SPEED. Montiel Truck Trail ends on a dirt road. There are about 6 mailboxes on the left side of the dirt road)
9. CONTINUE STRAIGHT onto W. Boundary Truck Trail (the dirt road - again, don't speed here. some areas are so narrow that one car will have to yeild to another if necessary)
10. Follow the dirt road until you see black wrought iron gates ON THE LEFT with a wooden sign that says "HIDDEN HAVEN".
11. Follow that road ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK TO THE FARM!
